These pants are a total winner. I’m 5’7”, 110# and size 34 fits me like a glove. The waist is contoured to fit *almost* snugly yet utterly comfortably with two expandable, 4-1/2”-to-6” elastic sections at the waist near each side seam. There are plenty of belt loops—two on the front, two at each side seam and one on the back—to keep your belt and its tongue neatly in place. I was concerned whether the length would be adequate, but in fact it is absolutely is, with pant legs landing just where they should on my hiking boots. Lace hooks are thoughtfully provided at the front hem to keep the pants from riding up over your boot tops. There are no back pockets to ruin your smooth profile. However there are two front right thigh pockets, one layered over the other, and each with its own zipper. The outer one is a simple square. The inner one, whose zipper is hidden by a snap flap, has an additional, smaller mesh pocket sewn into its back wall that could hold a mini cell phone or personal items, making this pocket the most secure of them all (these would make great travel pants!). The pocket on the left thigh is open at top, with a snap-over flap. There are two open pockets in the traditional jeans location.
